The latest and greatest product to evolve from inflatable paddle boards is the ISLE Inflatable Dock. Whether taken to the lake or used in the pool, these inflatable docks just might be the perfect addition for a day on the water. But before you decide if you’re ready to literally jump on the hottest industry trend, you should know the truth about these floating fortresses.
Early research is showing that ISLE Dock owners suffer from an influx of visitors after they make their purchase. We’re still attempting to sort through the variables but our lead researchers see a strong positive correlation between purchasing a Dock and finding unexpected visitors at the front door. We’ve also determined that talking about your Dock (word of mouth) greatly increases the number and frequency of visitors.
If it’s important to keep your friends and family out of your life, we have a few tips to follow:
We’re finding that younger generations are particularly susceptible to experiencing prolonged periods of “fun” on inflatable docks. Some parents have seen boys and girls as young as six years old lying about the status of their homework to spend more time enjoying their family’s inflatable dock swim platform. And if word gets out that your family owns a Dock, expect the neighborhood kids of all ages to storm your pool after school and on weekends to play on the Dock for hours on end. Family and friends may even pressure you to invite them over on weeknights.
The Dock is a grill master’s paradise. At 7’6” x 7’6” x 8” and rated for 1,150 pounds, it’s a highly stable, incredibly durable floating deck for people young and old. Dock owners are really leaning into the farm-to-table trend -- you can fish, clean your catch of the day, grill up dinner, and entertain guests without ever stepping foot on dry land.
Research published in the Archives of Internal Medicine has shown that three-quarters of U.S. teens and adults are deficient in the so-called “sunshine vitamin.” Vitamin D is essential for a number of vital processes, especially maintaining strong bones. Medical Professionals recommend getting 10-30 minutes of midday sunlight a few times each week. For Dock owners, limiting your time in the sun to 30 minutes a few times a week could be an issue. In the summer months, in particular, we’re finding that Dock owners are spending as much as 4-6 hours each day in the sun enjoying activities like yoga, grilling, floating down the river with friends, using it on the bay as a paddle board dock, and jumping on and off with children and pets at local watering holes.
If you own a breed of dog that enjoys spending time in the water, you may have to get even more accustomed to the smell of a wet dog. While children are certainly the biggest fans of the durable SUP Dock, breeds like Labradors, Spaniels, Setters, and Poodles can’t seem to jump off our inflatable floating Dock enough. The ISLE Inflatable Dock’s layer of soft brushed EVA traction is comfortable for bare human skin but also resilient enough for Fido’s rougher paws and nails. The inclusion of heavy-duty drop stitch material and military-grade PVC construction ensures a pet-friendly product that can stand the test of time.
All joking aside, inflatable water docks are easily one of our most versatile products. They're an insanely fun way to spend more time on the water with family, friends, and pets. The dock features 8 stainless steel d-rings, 14 neoprene padded handles, and 4 corner cleats to provide you with tons of options to secure beach chairs, coolers, and tether your Dock to other floating platforms. We love it for yoga, grilling, fishing, and just lounging on the lake with friends; its uses on the water are only limited by your imagination.
